Your agency has asked for access to Porkbun. You don't need to share your password for it. Porkbun lets you add them with their own login, choose exactly what they can do, and remove them when the project ends. These are the clicks, checked against Porkbun's own help pages in November 2026.
Add your agency to Porkbun
- Log in to Porkbun. If you haven't already, verify your email address and phone number (ACCOUNT menu, Settings / Billing, Account Owner and Recovery) and turn on app-based 2FA or a 2FA security key.
- Open the ACCOUNT menu in the top right and select Authorized Users.
- Enter your agency porkbun username, the Porkbun username of your agency, and click Submit.
An authorized user can manage every domain in your account and buy with your saved payment method, but cannot unlock or transfer domains. Porkbun asks the same verification and 2FA of your agency's account.
How you both know it worked
Porkbun emails your agency an invitation from porkbun.com. Once they accept it, they show in your Porkbun account's list of people with access, where you can see or change their role at any time.
Remove access when the project ends
- Log in to Porkbun, open the ACCOUNT menu and select Authorized Users.
- Find your agency porkbun username in the list and revoke its access.
- Open the ACCOUNT menu, select API Access and delete any API keys your agency created.
Do you have to share your password?
No. Every step above uses Porkbun's own invite, so your agency signs in with their own account, your two-step verification stays on, and anything they change is recorded under their name. How to give a developer access without sharing your password covers the other accounts agencies usually ask for.
Doing this for every client?
Agencies can send each client one GetSetKeys link instead of a page like this. It walks the client through Porkbun and the other platforms the project needs, and checks that each step is done.
